is the difference between these two programs?
The FULL RANCH Programs are the only programs for guests that provides meals. ROUNDUP TIME is where you ride (or work) from daylight to dark and sometimes more. We round up every cow on the ranch and work them in the pens. You will brand, vaccinate, worm, castrate, tag, de-horn, and doctor every cow, bull and calf on the ranch. And then there is the normal work of repair and fix and feed. Depending on "daily disasters" you might be riding one minute and fixing fence the next. No set schedule. No set duties. Cowboys DO NOT JUST ride horses. This is NOT for every guest. For those guests who want a more relaxed schedule with mostly riding, then the "NOT AT ROUNDUP TIME" is for you. Everything is included in
the price..
If I take you out to eat, unless I tell you it will cost extra and you agree, I will pay. Same with any other activity like learning to rope or shoot. Most everything on and off the ranch is included in your price.. you just go along with us. |

The FULL RANCH Programs are the only programs for guests that provides meals. NOT AT ROUNDUP TIME is where you ride (or work) with my cowboys BUT THERE IS NO SCHEDULED "IN THE PENS" CATTLE WORK. This program includes mostly riding. The hours and schedule are more leasurely and relaxed. No set schedule. No set duties. DO NOT get up at 6 AM and expect to see me or my cowboys unless it is Summer and we ride before it is hot. Cowboys DO NOT JUST ride horses. This is for guests who want a more relaxed schedule with mostly riding. We might move cattle from pasture to pasture, but don't count on it. We will be checking pastures, fences, and cattle daily, so there is all the riding you can stand. Everything is included in
the price..

If you just want a
room and lots of riding check our

AND RIDE program.
Essentially, this is a big cattle ranch and a small, exclusive guest ranch. You get LOTS of individual attention, as we try to limit our COWBOY UP ranch guests to a total of 10. You will become one of the family and crew. YOU work right along with our crew.. you only watch if you want to.
The "Cowboy Up" Package offers cattle and ranch work and LOTS of riding depending on weather conditions and work being done at the time.
If you stay less than 7 nights, you may not get to participate in all our off and on ranch activities.
We are flexible on check in and check out times.
A 10% non-refundable deposit
is required to confirm your reservation.
