 You join our ranch crew as if you had worked here for years. This is the time to "try it all". Gather every cow; brand, vaccinate, castrate, etc. Sort and ship. Other ranch work, and included"on and off ranch" activities (IF WE HAVE TIME). You only watch if you WANT to watch.. otherwise.. COWBOY UP (or sit on the fence and watch, Dude!)

 You join our ranch crew as if you had worked here for years. There is no "in the pens" cattle work.  You join my cowboys in any necessary ranch work and any included"on and off ranch" activities. What you do will depend on our needs and may change from hour to hour. Lots of "slack" time. You only watch if you WANT to watch.. otherwise.. COWBOY UP (or sit on the fence and watch, Dude!)

 
 
 
The Confederate Cavalry Scout
ROOM AND RIDE


 

Just a nice room and as much riding as you can physically handle and/or afford. 
A good bed and night's rest, then up on a horse and off to ride and explore.
I will send you and your Cavalry Scout guide out on specific missions or just to look and explore.
NO MEALS are included (Restaurants off ranch). NO CATTLE/COWBOY WORK is included.
Just a room and riding.
Standard guest amenities ARE included.
Any "on or off ranch" activities may cost extra, if you wish to try them.

















 

 
 

Overland Stage Passenger Stop
JUST A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT

Just like you got off the Overland or Wells Fargo stagecoach at a lonely ranch stop
and just needed a good place to bed down and relax.
Just a nice room and a beautiful ranch to explore on foot from the ranch house.
A chair on the veranda, by the pool, or down on the lake; a book; or just relax.
NO MEALS are included (Restaurants off ranch). NO CATTLE/COWBOY WORK is included.
NO HORSEBACK RIDING is included.
Just a room. As simple as a bunk bed with the bath down the hall or upstairs;
or a nice room with a private bath; or a suite with king size water beds and a Jacuzzi.
You and your pocketbook decide.
Standard guest amenities ARE included.

Riding and any "on or off ranch" activitieswill cost extra, if you wish to try them.

Three Ways to Come and Ride on the Ranch

The Old Chisholm Trail Drivers, the Texas Equestrian Trail Riders (TETRA)
and various size private groups have camped and ridden on this ranch

We will host your ride too.
We have about 25 miles of trails and 2500 acres for days of riding pleasure.

Day Activites for Large Groups

We have activities for day guests by the bus load.
We can put on Old West cattle roundup and cattle working demonstrations.
We host weddings, reunions, family parties, office parties, etc..
Cowboy supper or breakfast by the campfire. 
Hay rides and our own C&W professional singer with Karaoke for your fun. 
Horseback Riding and Fishing.
Hosting Corporate Groups for Teambuilding, Conferences, 
Executive Ranch Adventure, Pathfinding Challenges, etc...

Lazy F Horse Boarding for Guests
Live in town
Keep your horse(s) at the Ranch

This is just made for cowboys and cowgirls who have to live in the city
but want to own a horse and have a ranch in the middle of nowhere!!

This is how it works..
Come to the ranch
Bring your horse(s) 
OR
we will take you and buy you a horse(s) just to suit

We keep your horse(s) here, waiting for you and/or your family
Call when you are coming
If we don't have a room, we have friends who do
Saddle your horse and take off riding
When you are done, give us the horse and the work
and head on home

Your horse(s) .. Our ranch but treat it like yours!!
